Cathy Lagunas obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Mathematics, from California State University of San Bernardino. Mrs. Lagunas’s journey into education started with tutoring, working in the Juvenile schools, and is currently teaching upper elementary. Mrs. Lagunas has a proven track record of success especially with students in need of mathematics intervention and special needs cases.

She is committed to working extensively and effectively in the community to provide students with the tools to become successful scholars in the years to come. She is committed to help close the achievement gap in African American and Latino students.
